⚔️ Challenge Wars

How to earn Challenge Bonus through community-gated battles

📝 Phase 1: Propose a Challenge

  • Anyone can propose a matchup: Collection A vs Collection B
  • Choose war duration: 72h (Fast), 7 days (Standard), or 30+ days (Marathon)
  • Proposal enters 24-hour community vote
  • Both collections enter cooldown (can't be challenged again while proposal is active)

🗳️ Phase 2: Community Vote (24 hours)

  • Any wallet with ≥1 lifetime paid vote can vote YES or NO
  • Need majority YES to proceed
  • If rejected: proposal expires, no penalty, cooldowns lift
  • If approved: war begins immediately

⚔️ Phase 3: War (Duration varies)

  • Both collections compete to get the most NEW votes during the war window
  • Only votes cast during war period count toward challenge
  • War ends automatically after duration expires

🏆 Phase 4: Resolution & Rewards

  • Winner: Collection with most NEW votes during war
  • Tie: Both get equal split if votes are equal
Bonus Formula:
Impact = min(sqrt(total_new_votes) × 2, duration_cap)
Winner gets: 70% of impact
Loser gets: 30% of impact
(Tie: both get 50%) Duration Caps:
  • 72h (Fast): max 20 points impact
  • 7 days (Standard): max 30 points impact
  • 30+ days (Marathon): max 40 points impact
⏳ Cooldown After War:
Both collections get cooldown period before next challenge. Prevents spam and gives recovery time.

📊 Example

  1. Someone proposes "Casino vs Virtual Origins" for 7 days
  2. Community votes 65% YES → War begins
  3. During 7 days:
    • Casino get 150 NEW votes
    • Virtual Origins get 120 NEW votes
  4. Total = 270 new votes → Impact = sqrt(270) × 2 = 32.86 → Capped at 30 (7-day limit)
  5. Casino win:
    • Casino get: +21 points (70% of 30)
    • Virtual Origins get: +9 points (30% of 30)
These bonuses are additive (added after multipliers):
Final Score = (Raw Votes × D × W × C) + ChallengeBonus

💡 Strategy Tips

  • Longer durations = higher cap, but harder to mobilize voters
  • Even losers get 40% → participating builds score
  • Community gatekeeping protects against spam/unfair matchups
